The white grape variety Ansonica is an autochthonous Sicilian variety with a slightly nutty aroma, also known as Insolia or Inzolia in Sicily. Inzolia can be found in all provinces of the Mediterranean island. A characteristic of this grape variety is its acidity which remains in the grapes till the finished ripening.
