In the province of Verona, right in the heart of the Alpone Valley, is situated the Gianni Tessari Family Winery. Gianni runs his 55 hectares through three DOC regions with great passion and curiosity, as well as an awareness of tradition and a desire to innovate to achieve new goals. Everything can be summed up by Gianni’s motto: “Three territories, one passion: wine”.
In addition to the Soave DOC and DOCG regulations, there are also two subzones in which Soave Classico and Soavi Colli Scaligeri are produced. According to the Italian wine glossary the term “Soave Classico” designates wines that come from the core of the area around Soave and Monteforte d’Alpone.

Vineyard soil: mainly red clay of volcanic origin
Vinification: 1 months barrique, 6 months stainless steel
Food Pairings: first courses, soups, fish, white meat
Characteristics: straw yellow colour, hints of white flowers and fruits, full-bodied, light notes of almonds, fresh finish
