Verdicchio is a white wine variety from central Italy and probably derives from the family of the Trebbiano-Greco varieties. In the Marche, especially the DOC denominations Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and Verdicchio di Matelica, exclusively from this grape variety is produced a white wine of the same name.
