Barolo Briccolina

In Piedmont, on the hills between Serralunga d’Alba and Sinio, Enrico Rivetto runs his 15 hectares estate with a vision: a production using only biodynamic techniques, viticulture in harmony with nature, land and man, resulting in a vineyard that is in balance with the entire ecosystem. The passion for wine has been in the family for 4 generations.

Briccolina was the pioneer vineyard for the biodynamic approach of the winery in 2015. After destemming and crushing the grapes the maceration for about 60 days takes place, with only the first part of the mash being immersed. Afterwards follows the spontaneous fermentation in open wooden vats as well as the malolactic fermentation.
