Gewürztraminer Vom Lehm Magnum


Gewürztraminer is one of the most famous grape varieties of South Tyrol. It stands out with its wide range of aromatic flavours of rose leaves, cloves, lychee and tropical fruits.

„Vom Lehm“ means the loamy soil on which the grapes for this Gewürztraminer bring out best results.

The Label shows the development from the loamy soils to the vine and to the final wine in the glass.

Vineyard: selected vineyards in the Bassa Atesina region

Vineyard training system: Guyot

Vineyard soil: loamy and clay soils

Vinification: manual harvest, gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel, maturation on the yeast for 6 months

Food Pairings: spicy starters, roasted fish, shellfish, shrimps, slightly spiced dishes of white meat, Asian dishes

Characteristics: intense straw yellow colour, elegant, powerful notes of roses, cloves and lychee, aromatic structure
