Nerello Mascalese is a red grape variety, second most common in Sicily after the Nero d’Avola variety. The late ripening variety is used for varietal wines as well as for blends of table wines. This Nerello Mascalese Feudo Bannera is produced as a 100 % varietal red wine of Sicily.

Vineyard training system: Guyot
Vineyard soil: barren volcanic soils
Vinification: maturation in barrique for 6 months
