In the province of Verona, right in the heart of the Alpone Valley, is situated the Gianni Tessari Family Winery. Gianni runs his 55 hectares through three DOC regions with great passion and curiosity, as well as an awareness of tradition and a desire to innovate to achieve new goals. Everything can be summed up by Gianni’s motto: “Three territories, one passion: wine”.
This wine is a blend of 50 % Merlot and 50 % Cabernet Franc. It requires a lot of attention and stands out with its particular vinification. Therefore it is called “Due” which is the Italian number for “two”.

Vineyard soil: mainly red clay of volcanic origin
Vinification: 6 months barrique
Food Pairings: first courses, grilled or roasted meat, game, medium mature cheese
Characteristics: garnet red colour, Fruity notes of cherry, dark berries, spices and floral nuances, full and velvety in the palate, well balanced tannins
