The San Salvagio farm is located under the ancient walls of Montepulciano in Tuscany, not far from Siena and its cellar has been entirely built with materials from old Tuscan farmhouses.
The Rosso made from Sangiovese grapes (called Prugnolo Gentile in Montepulciano), Cannaiolo and others smaller varieties, comes from San Salvagio di Sopra or from La Spinella vineyard. Aged 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, this wine with an intense taste and a great bouquet is suitable for a wide range of combinations. Further aged it becomes a delicious meditation wine.
